There is an inbuilt software which comes with mac for picking the color on any pixel on the screen. It is called DigitalColor Meter. You can find it simple doing the Spotlight Search as shown below.
Then you can just scroll your mouse pointer around. It will tell you the color of selected pixel on the screen as shown in the screenshot below.
